You know I have seen a lot of racial tension lately, whether here or in real life and it really pisses me off. Yes this 2009 and i really thought we have surpassed all of that nonsense long ago. Look at us now. Did we ever think we would ever get a black president? No i didnt and when we did i was like WOW we have really grown but yet all i have seen is negativity. It is like we expect him to perform miracles. We didnt get this way overnight so give it time. Dont criticize him for every small thing he does it is his right.

If this was any other president he wouldnt be given a second thought but because  he is black it seems like he is being watched and people are just waiting to pounce. I am not saying that this is a racial thing but he has already gotten more publicity than most other presidents. His job is the hardest, most stressfull, most unappreciative jobs out there and yet he choses to stay and try to lead our country in the right direction. I say give him time and instead of criticizing him try to help in any way you can. As one of my favorite singers say(even though it is meant to a girfriend it can be put in this situation to)

she said we are much to different, we are from two seperate worlds and he admitted she was partly right. in his hearts defense he told her what they had in common was strong enough to bond them for life. he said look behind your own soul and the person that you'll see just might remind you of me

i laugh, i love, i hope, i try, i hurt, i need, i fear, i cry and i know you do the same things to. so we're really not that different me and you.

i know it is meant for a couple but it can be put in any way. every person does this. the only difference is the color.

and i dont mean just the presidency to or blacks and whites. it goes for hispanics and other cultures. i get so many people who come into my job and treat my mexicans bad just because of who they are and i just want to smack them. and i tell everyone who says something bad that they need to be nice to them cause i wouldnt trade my employees(the good ones at least and most of mine are good) for anything in the world.
