Racism
In society today, there is a disease called racism that destroys lives.
The definition of racism is race-based bigotry, prejudice, violence, oppression, stereotyping or discrimination, those who are not like themselves. What seems to be the cause of racism? During our history past 500 to 1000 years, racism is and seems to be always part of our lives and children lives. In our society today, there are many reason of racism, but three stand out the most: heritage, racial and political groups, pride in one’s own race is the worst.
Heritage of racism begins with the beginning of life. Racial and political groups are those, who only see things in white, never within the equal of each person as a person instead of color, culture or origin. These are people in the racially groups like Ku Klux Klan, Invisible Empire, Nazi Skinheads and many more. Then there is our government that judges us by the color, culture or origin. Pride in one’s own race is about the teachings within his or hers race, they are better or the other race is lesser than them.
Then there are three basic forms: open racism, violent racism, and finally the covert racism. Open racism is the words of slang that belittle the other race. Violent racism is the crimes which promote violence against any one that is not like them. Violent racism is the need to make another race fearful of another race. Violent racism is the persuasionary tactics to bring his, or her life to a stand still, and run, or death. Convert racism is to disguise their racism from others around him, or her.
Yet racism has many other meanings, it just plain out wrong to have within life where lives are twisted, turn upside or destroy for pity selfish misunderstanding of their color, culture or origin. In life past and present hatred upon lives still comes in many forms, but the one that stick out the most is racism. Racism is a selfish need to control, own and obtain the divine power over all life and lands upon our vast world. Now at war fighting against terrorist because life must insert certain dangerous in order to be heard and seen as power over all life but is it proving or winning anything that will make it stop, when hatred of each other is strong and growing still with racism? Why is life so afraid of others religion and nationality, culture or origin? Today, life is prejudging lives without considering what this life is, or how this life can offer a helpful way out of the dilemma, instead of just tearing lives down more lower than life is all ready. Is life afraid of its own refection within the mirror to where life should hate something else because it is not looking like itself?
The nature of racism…..is life own selfishness and need to obtain more than what is needed within each life. A true evil of racism is compassionless to see that life is about the whole not about the one, yet most only care about themselves. Racism is nothing but evil simply infecting hearts in twisted way and souls yearning to destroy all that are in their way of reaching the top. Misery, hatred and despair breed racism the way rotting flesh breeds infection and disease upon life and land. Racism is the hatred breathing upon us all that has the need to play hatred upon all races different from our own race. Violence has erupted upon our lives like tidal waves of death that we still refuse to see or steer away from. We have no control over guns, gangs and drugs. Why is this?
Yet behind closes doors or away from our children, they speak and act the hatred of color, creed and race upon those in our life. Even in a workplace or even passing us by in daily life. Has life failed to see without peace or harmony within each of our hearts and souls, there will never be any peace or unity upon this world? Why are there so many people hating each other instead of reaching and wanting to united with life? Racism hatred of other races is the root of life’s own destruction to where life is refusing to see and come together as one within unity. Racism is the flipside of love and compassion, yet hatred has no reasoning of wanting to understand life is not about itself. Is Life living shallow lives within hatred of nationality? Why has racism hatred become more powerful over us than we over it?
Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Faith is taking the first step, even when you don’t see the whole staircase. Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it. In the end, we will remember not the words of enemies, but the silence of our friends.”
Have we not learn for our past mistake to see that the present is not moving away from the past, so where the future will not be repeating it racism hatred again each turning of the time upon our lives? Can there be a common goal in life to keep us from always slipping back into the old of habits of hating each other because of race? Has racism hatred of life caused enough death and pain with our lives, what more does life have to surrender to hatred before it is enough? Does it truly matter to what we are, or what we believe in life, as long as we ask God to forgive us for mistakes and help us with under stance of those who are against us to where we will not hate them or judge them but in fact forgiving them because they are our brothers and sisters? Can we not see, we are the same no matter what our nationality, culture or origin is?
We are born and died. We have emotion and feelings. We suffer and laugh. We strive to better our lives and offer love to all no matter who they are. So why must hatred within racism be upon us? Do not we bleed the same way, died and love, so how different are we, if we stop to think about it? We may be different in color, culture and languages but are we not God children created to be his children and sibling to each other? We share so much alike and yet fail to see it, until it is too late. Why must we fight with each other over pity things in life that we can not take with us when we leave this world? What kind of future for our children are we leaving them in when we are gone? So is racism hatred right or could it be that our answer is, we must stop and turn around where we can prevent our children making the same mistakes. Or will we leave a future where there is no hope or world for our children walk and live in? Can we stop the racism hatred? Can we become human race within unity before it is too late?
