I have some questions that I am curious to find many answers to: If one has a job doing something that they or society, as a whole, views as wrong, is it ok to hide behind the old addage: "I am just doing my job."? The examples of professions that I will offer are purely for the purpose of demonstrating my confliction: Employee of the Internal Revenue Service, Abortion Clinic Personel, and Bill Collectors, etc. There is a purpose for using such obvious examples. On a seperate but similarly equal, un-clear note, is someone that does something wrong but that reaps no financial gain looked on as bad as someone that does something wrong for a financial reward? For example: Someone steals food because they are starving versus someone who steals material objects to support a drug habit?
Opinions?
