To make a promise means you will keep that promise no matter what. It is not just empty words that mean nothing. Don't make a promise if you know that you have no intentions of keeping it, all that does it hurt the person the promise was made to.Yes you have other comments and this is understood and why promises should not be made, maybe there are too many other comments for you to keep your promises.
