I have an 8 year old daughter who thinks she is fat. I have been on a diet this past year and have lost a little over 60 pounds so far. She has seen me weighing myself and she is very supportive of me. But now she has it in her head she is fat also and needs to lose weight. I have talked to my family about this but they are just blowing it off. I have told her that she is just a kid and she is by no means fat and she is still growing. But for whatever reason she don't belive me. So should I..
a) Keep doing what I have been doing and telling her she isnt fat.
or
b) Try to remember to weigh myself when she is at school so she don't see me doing it. |
