Private Hell
Sitting here in the silence
My mind is void of all thought
Lonely and confused
A sadness creeps over me
As unknown tears fill my eyes
A pang of hurt attacks my heart
My soul cries out to the emptiness
The darkness drops over me
Like a veil drawn over the world
With icy fingers of fire
A chill consumes my body
As I try hard to make it through
To survive this private hell called life
