Look at me

Do you know who I am?

What do you see?

Do you give a damn?

 

Look at me closely

Look deep inside

Look in my heart

It's open wide.

 

Look at my soul

Do you see what I am?

Do you feel the real me?

I am not a sham.

 

Look into my eyes

They are only for you

Honestly tell me

Will you ever be true?

 

Look at me

I'm dying inside

You love is all I want

When will this pain subside?

I can't see your face inmy mind anymore.

Why? Because it's a lie.

You aren't who you portray day to day.

Why?  Because you lie.

Do you even know who you are anymore?

Have you become the lie?

I loved you even after I knew

Even though you are a lie.

Do they know the man they think they love?

He's all a lie

What will they say when the truth comes out?

Will you want to die all for a lie?

I'm happy you found someone

Who makes you feel brand new

I hope it lasts a long time

Longer than me and you

 

I loved you with everything I had

And I know you loved me too

I guess we just weren't meant to be

Even though our love was true

 

So forward in our lives we'll go

But friends we'll still remain

If something happens and you need to talk

I'll be here to ease your pain

Fickle Winds

 

They say the grass looks greener on the other side

But sometimes we get hurt becuse we are blind

For love can be right under our nose

And the scent be lost when the fickle winds blow

 

 

The hurt we feel is beyond compare

Until we realize true love is still there

True love blossoms, true love grows

sometimes the right one is right under our nose

 

So cherish the one in whose love you can trust

Hold onto them tightly when fickle winds gust

And remember it's not always greener on the other side

Love those who truly love you and let fickle winds love die.

Kiss me passionately with all your might

Make me forget everything but you

Hold me in your arms every night

Make all my dreams come true

 

My heart is filled with such delight

Just thinking of being with you

I can’t believe how perfectly right

True love can be for two.

 

Look into my eyes and see the emotion

Emanating from within my heart

Swelling up like a wave in the ocean

Flowing freely with love to impart

 

For you I have such a sweet devotion

And have had right from the start.

I hope there never is the slightest notion

That our souls should ever part

The real man that lives inside you

All you see is pain and strife

Never looking at all your blessings in life

 

As a father I am sure you would do just great

You are kind, loving, and sensitive; you harbor no hate

You always look at the facts put before you, you see

So fair and loving in punishment you would be

 

As a husband I am sure you would be the best

Showing your love so much better than the rest

A lucky woman your wife would be

For the man inside you is a real man indeed

 

As a friend I can say that you give your all

You are always there when they reach out and call

You give of yourself more than anyone should

And you’d make things all better as only you could

 

So even though that man you don’t see

He’s there for everyone else who’s in need.

He’s courageous; he’s honest, not spiteful nor proud

That’s why heaven already has your name on a cloud

The Man You Are

 

I want you to know the man you are inside

The man I feel when you lay with me at night

The man in which I want my faith to abide

And love me with all his heart and might

 

You are loving and giving beyond compare

When you say “I will be by your side”

I know you will be there

Not ebbing and flowing like the tide

 

You have the sweetest disposition

Always caring and true

You’re supportive of everyone

In everything they do

 

I love when funny things

With your friends you share

Be they pictures or videos

From I don’t know where

 

You are one of the few

Admirable people I know

Surviving your battles

Your hard work does show

 

You are a survivor of life ‘tis true

Valiantly waging the wars you face

Though there are days the loses you rue

You can rest assured of victories to taste

 

The man you are has a zest for life

You prove it with every day that passes

Even though some days cut like a knife

You’re an extremely intelligent man of consciousness.

 

Because you are such an enlightened man

A wealth of information

Your friends know you will have a plan

Because you are good at elucidation.

The Vampire Prince

 

The Vampire Prince is regal indeed

His roguish good looks are sure to please

If he gazes your direction don’t let your eyes meet

You’ll be under his spell unable to retreat

 

One smile from his lips and you certainly will know

How his sensual aura around him does flow

It envelops you quickly and holds on to you tight

You know in an instance you won’t win this fight

 

As he carries you into the night to his lair

You’ll want to run your fingers through his hair

How luscious it feels, how shiny and black

Soft and silky falling down his back

 

He has you in his power to do with as he will

It is with cunning he uses his animal appeal

He bids you to trust him, as he brushes your cheek

A simple gesture that makes your knees grow weak

 

He moves your hair gently out of his way

He kisses you softly and then he does say

“I promise you’ll thank me I promise you bliss”

Then he leans down and gives you the vampire kiss.

THE VAMPIRE WITHIN

 

One look in his eyes

And I can see

The vampire within

Staring back at me.

 

The canines so sharp

His smile reveals

How proud he is

Of his animal appeal.

 

No one can resist him

No one can ignore

The exuding sensuality

Which emanates from his pores

 

The smile so irresistible

The eyes so intense

Draw you into his world

Disabling your defense.

 

The vampire within him

Knows what he needs

He will do what he has to

On your blood he feeds.

 

Yes, one look in his eyes

And all can see

The vampire within him

Will bring you to your knees.

Thoughts Of You

 

My thoughts of you they never cease

I cannot find a sense of peace

You are with me day and night

When the sun comes up through the last rays of light

 

I know I killed your love for me

I don’t know why I can’t let you be

I failed you in so many ways

And now I can’t get through the day

 

The nights are when I feel it most

When I wake from sleep I lose all hope.

I know you won’t ever lay with me

And hold me close for security.

 

It’s all my fault and you’ll never know

How the love I have for you will grow

Until the day I cease to breathe

My thoughts of you will forever be.

We’ve laughed and we’ve cried.

Shared tender moments sublime

Many tears we did dry

From time to time.

 

We’ve supported each other

Through smooth times and rough

We never once doubted

On the stars in the sky

Even after we die.

 

For in death we will haunt

All the places we shared.

Best Friends

 

There are two wonderful Yankee boys

They both play coy just to annoy

They are the very best of friends

On that you certainly can depend

 

One is beautiful, sexy and smart

His eyes penetrate you like a dart

Surprisingly modest to a fault

His smile will bring your heart to a halt

 

The other is hotness, subtle yet pure

You wonder how much you can endure

On a woman’s beauty his eyes do dine

His smile portrays a devilish sign

 

Don’t get me wrong these two are rare

They both have that come hither stare

And if you fall for either one

You my dear are surely done

 

There are no others to these who compare

Although you can look for some if you dare

I don’t think you will find even one

Just give up and admit that they've won.

 

I know you say you love me

And it really warms my heart

But you are never here you see

And so I fall apart

 

I know you’ve said you don’t feel well

And I don’t doubt that is true

All I know is it feels like hell

The way I’m missing you

 

I believed and took to heart when you said

I’m the only one with whom you can talk

And that you’d always be beside me in bed

But around you on egg shells I seem to walk.

 

I’m scared to tell you how I feel

For my fear it tells me to stay clear

And not to push you until you heal

From all that has transpired this year

 

I hurt for you in the middle of the night

When all is dark and I can’t sleep

There are no sounds, all is quiet

As thoughts of you in my mind do creep.

 

I think of all the things that we

Talked about in the fall

I wonder if you still think of me

Or if I enter your mind at all

 

You used say Hii beautiful

Each time you came online

Now you barely answer me

You never have the time

 

But I will always be here

 

My Inadequacies

Fear of pushing you away

Even though you live with tremendous pain

You always look to help others without gain.

For friends you hold them all so dear

You help them always and keep them near.

It is your gift from up above

Just a look in your eyes and I can tell

Just why in love with you I fell.

There Are Days

 

There are days when I don’t want out of bed

All I can feel is heartbreak and dread

The world around me is hardened, depraved

Someone please help me to get through unscathed.

 

People don’t care about much anymore

They break tender hearts and then keep the score

But when you think back on the ways things were

You realize it’s like living in a world with a curse.

 

I wish I could go to a place no one would find

I think I could live there without missing my kind

My only little corner of the world as they say

A place where I’m happy each and every day.

Just being with you makes me smile

Disappear to a world where only we live

A place full of the love and happiness we give

A place we can become one for just a moment

Shutting out all the pain and torment

Would be so inconceivable yet so complete

Even if it’s just for a very short time

Even though it’s just an allusion

Truth, honesty, and acceptance

 

Our insecurities are apparent in our words.

I long to take care of you; take away the pain

Take away the anguish I see and feel in your words

They are like a tidal wave

Tugging on my heart; breaking it with each syllable

If only there was something I could do for you

You are thousands of miles away

Living your life

Sharing it with others

I hope you are happy
