Stop telling God how big your storm is. Instead tell your storm how big your GOD is! In Phoenix, Arizona, a 26-year-old mother stared down at her 6 year old son, who was dying of terminal leukemia. Although her heart was filled with sadness, she also had a strong feeling of determination. Like any parent, she wanted her son to grow up and fulfill all his dreams. Now that was no longer possible.. The leukemia would see to that. But she still wanted her son's dreams to come true. She took her son's hand and asked, "Billy, did you ever think about what you wanted to be once you grew up? Did you ever dream and wish what you would do with your life?" Mommy, "I always wanted to be a fireman when I grew up." Mom smiled back and said, "Let's see if we can make your wish come true." Later that day she went to her local fire department in Phoenix, Arizona, where she met Fireman Bob, who had a heart as big as Phoenix. She explained her son's final wish and asked if it might be possible to give her six-year-old son a ride around the block on a fire engine. Fireman Bob said, "Look, we can do better than that. If you'll have your son ready at seven o'clock Wednesday morning, we'll make him an honorary fireman for the whole day. He can come down to the fire station, eat with us, go out on all the fire calls, the whole nine yards! And if you'll give us ! his sizes, we'll get a real fire uniform for him, with a real fire hat-not a toy one-with the emblem of the Phoenix Fire Department on it, a yellow slicker like we wear and rubber boots. They're all manufactured right here in Phoenix, so we can get them fast." Three days later Fireman Bob picked up Billy, dressed him in his fire uniform and escorted him from his hospital bed to the waiting hook and ladder truck. Billy got to sit on the back of the truck and help steer it back to the fire station. He was in heaven. There were three fire calls in Phoenix that day and Billy got to go out on all three calls. He rode in the different fire engines, the paramedic's van, and even the fire chief's car. He was also videotaped for the local news program. Having his dream come true, with all the love and attention that was lavished upon him, so deeply touched Billy that he lived three months longer than any doctor thought possible. One night all of his vital signs began to drop dramatically and the head nurse, who believed in the hospice concept that no one should die alone, began to call the family members to the hospital. Then she remembered the day Billy had spent as a fireman, so she called the Fire Chief and asked if it would be possible to send a fireman in uniform to the hospital to be with Billy as he made his transition. The chief replied, "We can do better than that. We'll be there in five minutes. Will you please do me a favor? When you hear the sirens screaming and see the lights flashing, will you announce over the PA system that there is not a fire? It's just the fire department coming to see one of its finest members one more time. And will you open the window to his room? About five minutes later a hook and ladder truck arrived at the hospital and extended its ladder up to Billy's third floor open window 16 firefighters climbed up the ladder into Billy's room. With his mother's permission, they hugged him and held him and told him how much they loved him. With his dying breath, Billy looked up at the fire chief and said, "Chief, am I really a fireman now?" "Billy, you are, and the Head Chief, Jesus, is holding your hand," the chief said. With those words, Billy smiled and said, "I know, He's been holding my hand all day, and the angels have been singing.." He closed his eyes one last time. My instructions were to send this to at least four people that I wanted God to bless and I picked you. Please pass this to at least four people you want to be blessed. This story is powerful and there is nothing attached, please do not break this pattern; uplifting stories are one of the best gifts we receive. There is no cost but a lot of rewards, let's continue to uplift one another. ***************************** Stop telling God how big your storm is. Instead Tell your storm how big your God is!!!

Written by a friend of mine..For my 7 week old Granddaughter..Abagail.. Born Dec 17th, 2006 .. Died Feb 10th, 2007 She came into their lives in the middle of the night, oh, it was the wee hours of the morning when her sweet little face came into sight.. So tiny she was, with a heart of gold, which touched all that was told of her wonderful miracle birth. From the heart of North Carolina her birth reached the myspace site spreading like a wild fire filled with a strong and powerful holy love. Bringing people together in prayer around the world in far to many states to name them all.. We prayed for her recovery night and day, cheered and shouted with ounce she gained as she fought for her stay here upon this earth. Sweet little Blessed Angel was now a part of our lives and we loved her as if she was our very own shining little light. Jesus had another plan one we don't sometimes understand, and once again in the wee hours of the morning. He stretched out his warm loving arms reached down and carried Blessed Angel home. Now tears of uncontrolled heartaches and pain remain in the hearts of all who knew, loved, prayed, shouted, and now cries as we try to say goodbye. (In Loving Memory Of Abagail Madison Spear)

" My Friend " These, I send to you: The rain, to wash away the old; The sun, for a brighter tomarrow; The stars, for you to wish upon; The moon, to light your way; A Rose, to show I care; A shoulder, to lean upon, if you dare; And last, but not least; I send my heart, so you know; You always have a place there; To you My Friend, I send these.... For you are so dear; written by: djr/DJR
" A Mothers' Tear " A Mothers' tear falls silent, with the hope and joy for the new. A tear of happiness, saddness and anticipation of all to come. A Tear of wonder, as this new life emerges. A Mothers' Tear falls silently, for all the unexpected, hope and love; A tear falls silently through the night. Alone in her room, a tear falls; For all the saddness, and sickness; the feelings of helplessness and dispare. A Mothers' Tear falls; For all the disappointments, and heartaches the future holds; For the woes of the world and the hardships her children will endure; Somewhere out there, A Mothers' Tear falls; For all the painfull words, that came from the children, she holds so dear. A Mothers' Tear fell as her little ones, go their way to conquer the world; A Mothers' Tear Silently Falls. One Day A Mothers' Tear ; Will Fall No More. 2001 By: D.J.R d.j.r.
" I Know Not " As I sit here all alone; A tear falls, from where and why I know not; My heart is heavy, my mind is full of what and why I know not; I feel empty inside, so much, I want to hide; For if I hide no-one will see the tear that falls from me; For why it fell I know not; The feeling is so great, I can not bare; The tears are flowing so freely now; For what and why I know not; Depressed and sad; I bare all alone; No-one to see; No-one to care; So I will hide, so no-one sees, The tears that fall from me. 2006 By: D.J.R d.j.r
"Candles Dance of Life" Watching the flame, of a candle dance, makes me think of a cool spring Breeze; The leaves as they dance on the ground, The waves of the oacen dancing with the shore; The birds, as they glide through the air, ever so graceful. The scent of the candle, makes me think of a cool winters morn, with the air crisp and clean from the new fallen snow. The soft glow, reminds me of the moon light, as it dances across the snow; In the way it sparkles, as if there were a million tiny diamonds scattered about. The candles flame changes color as it dances; Just as each autum day has a new look. As I sit and watch the candle do it's dance; I find my self dreaming of things I would like to do; Sitting in front of a cozy fire, sipping on cocoa; Having a romantic dinner for two; And a long stroll on a moon lit beach, hand in hand. Most of all, the Candles dance of Life, makes me want you here with me always. By: D.J.B d.j.b. 1986
" I am Here" I sence you near I turn to see, But no-one is there; I feel your touch, I reach out to take your hand, But no-one is there: I feel the warmth of your embrace; But no-one is there;. I feel your kiss upon my cheek, like a gental breeze, but no-one is there; I smell your cologne in the air,But no-one is there; I can't see you, I can't touch you, I can't hold you, I can sence your presence, your warmth, your strenghth your touch, even the smell of your cologne lingers near, but I know you are not there, I close my eyes and say this is all but a dream; you lean near, and whisper in my ear, Daughter I am here... In Loving memory of my Dad I Miss you so! 2006 Written By: DJR
