Daddy
To my loving son Ryan A. Viner
As I sit here in this cell I stare at the walls
that I've built around myself. Unable to see through,
I feel so trapped and alone not quite knowing what to do
and having no-where else to turn, I take a look back
at all the time we shared together just to get left by you
Much clearer it is now to see, All the things that should
but could never be I wonder Is this it Gods plan for me
All this pain and misery if it is, when will it all end
When will you be able to let go of the past
And we become friends again
For the sake of our son, to whom I miss so much
From his ever loving smile
Down to the softness of his touch
And most of all to here every fathers name
As their sons or daughters call out to
one and all the same
