I Pledge my life,
Like my Brothers before me
To fight the fires to the best
of my ability.

Through my training
and what I have learned
I'll use common sense
not to get burned.

I'll always be alert
To hear the weakest shout,
I'll work quickly and efficiently
To put the fires out.

Through smoke and flame
I'll give my all,
Like my brothers before me
who did fall.

And if something should go wrong,
And Death should make his call
I'll neither take nor place no blame,
For I know I gave my all.
