Falling Through

Laying on my back thinking about a CD

With music from a precious voice of harmony

The thoughts race inside my head and match my missing thee

Although I used to feel glad against this melody

         Just a moment and getting fear

         Biting on my lip

         Another second starts to slip

         And here it is - the tear

I do not want to move and I really don't care

If the world pounded on my door

At the shadows on the wall I stare

Seeing you and nothing more

         No need for food or beverage

Comes The Black

Black is the night and so is your day

   Of the daughter above

   The end of Cancer is the sign of the Dove

         Instead comes the crows

         Pelting; dead

         Come the mourning woes

         Scars; red

Green is the color and so are my eyes

   Inherit the pain

   Seek out the ones

   Who showed their guns

   But now hide from the rain

         Instead comes the black

         Consuming; dripping

         We choke on its back

         Heaving; whipping
