There you are standing as dawn breaks over the mountain, Watching as the light flows down like a golden fountain, The fury of last nights storms now have passed, Leaving the raindrops sparkling like jewels in the grass. Breathing in the air so crisp and sweet, Listening to the birds as they begin to cheep, The fury spent last night is replaced by calm, There in the first light of this new dawn. The dawn's light revealing the wonders of the earth, Its beauty around you is given a new birth, As more and more around you is revealed, You realize now that your fate has been sealed. For the life you live has turned around, As the one meant for you has now been found, And now he steps up there by your side, The joy you feel, you can no longer hide, And as you soak up the warmth of the morning light, You know that your world has finally been set right, Moving yourself closer to your man, And slowly taking your Master's hand. In life there are many choices to make, When life's road forks which path will you take, Left or right, which will it be, You know the future is so hard to see. What path is the best to take, Which is the best choice for you to make, They say take the one less traveled, But all to often it seems to unravel. One that seems so right at the start, All to often leaves you alone in the dark, And sometimes the one harder then the rest, Turns out to be the one that is best. So the choice is there for you to make, Which path will you take, The roads are there for you to choose, Not making a choice is the only way to loose. So go and find the life for you, And may the path you take lead you to happiness true, Just know you have a friend here indeed, And I will be here when your in need. DQA

Though the sun is shining, my world is dark, Because the girl I love and I are apart, The brightness of this sunny day, Fades to gray when she is away. The birds abound and begin to sing, But no music i hear will erase the sting, No joy or comfort will their songs bring, Without her, the world is a soundless empty thing. The flowers bloom with their colors so bright, But they bring no beauty to my sight, The aroma they produce use to be bliss, Now they offer nothing, when it is her i miss. This spring has no meaning since she is away, Only pain and heartache are here to stay, Each day is slowly passing me by, Without her love, I can only cry, They say that time has a way to heal, But a lifetime can not change the way I feel, The only thing I can do is hope and pray, That she will return to me one spring day.
