The American Vet

The American Vet This is for those who protest, curse and hatefully spit when the hear stories about the American Vet, I have two words "Screw You"! I have to be honest that I am proud to write this to tell you folk "Your all Wet! Have you forgotten that every person who signs their name to join the Marines, Army, Air Force, Navy or Coast Guard did so with one or more of a million reasons. Some were farmer kids that wanted to get away from long hours of work they had to do during the spring, summer and hay bailing seasons. Some worked in your favorite stores and were payed with very little coin, The chance for three squares a day, medical, dental and a career become strong reasons for them to join. Some are kids that people call incorrigible or simply a troubled child, The come to grips with the exercise, learning, and friendships they have. They find these new experiences pretty wild. Some join because their great-grandfathers raised thought the ranks, They were thrilled as they heard the stories how the old WWII vet fought in one of Patton's tanks. Whatever reasons the kids volunteer I can tell you this, they are scared when they go into a war zone and they do cry when a friend is covered with the dreaded body bag, And the same volunteers cry again for their friends when a handfull of idiots laughs and screams "Your family deserves this because God hates fags!" When you sign up there is a reality that you may be placed in a firefight from hell, They understand the freedom they save that lets the prophets of hate burn the flag and continue to believe the crap they sell. So I say this to you idiots one more time "Screw You", And for you that turn laugh and walk away. I'll repeat that statement pretty loud. To my brother and sisters in all the United State services I have only a few more thoughs: Come home safe to be with the ones that love you, I honor you for your time, I salute you for your honor of duty, I hope you accept our huggs and handshakes because of you, We can stand proud!!
I want people to be extremely safe this holiday season here are a few ideas that may mean safety or a pack of trouble. 1) When you are shopping leave nothing in your back seat. Including coats or blankets/ 1a) blankets and coats can hide a body 1b) people know you have stuff under those if you are in a mall, so don't! 2) At the mall if you bring your packages out to the car, use the trunk! 2a) Then move your car to the other side of the mall. People watch you loading the stuff and they will have a great Christmas as you fill out the police report 3) Ladies please as for an escort if you are at the club. Most places encourage it. 4) Park near the light pole, at least you have something there to help you find it. Also remember the safety. 5) Always and I mean Always look in your car before you get in. If you feel funny, run and get the security. 6) Only put a few minor packages at the tree if it is in front of a window. Remember the bigger the package the better the break in. Remember you Safety this holiday season and everyday. Loved ones wants you to come home to theme......................... Tim

Tuesday Mornings

Here I am sitting wondering what to write that I haven't all ready told you yet, I could tell ya that I do play Texas Hold-em and bluff with a big bet. I could tell you that being single isn't all it's cracked up to be, I would say it would be great to have a beauty sitting at my breakfast table, that I would like to see. I could tell ya that I unload tons of tires each day to you can be safe as you drive, And I hate yellow jackets, not the school coats but that damned bee straight from it's hive. I could tell you that I have 500 CD's ranging from rock to the blues, That I am starting to think about taking a 7 night ocean cruise. I don't know what I could tell you because I haven't heard any questions that you need to know, Besides a 10 rating on a pic of my bathrobe that I only did a tease without the show. I am starting to wonder if this site is really worth my time or is it only a game. What do you get when you make the hall of fame? I am looking for honest friends that would enjoy a good cup of mud, Today I am not sure if I am happy or mentally feeling like crud. I am good and strong because I am one of the lucky few that gets to work, Thank goodness I don't have to apply to places and show up for cattle calls then leave feeling like a jerk. But I am here and I am not about to boast, Time for me to go make my Tuesday morning toast. For those on here that are family and friends I leave this last thought so I can make it through my day, As I am driving delivering my wares, I might be in a hurry so please "GET OUT OF MY WAY!"

This Damned Weekend!!!!

What's there to do when you go home alone, Sit around the house bitch and moan. Where do you go when all the friends are out of town, Could go to a bar and get freaking drunk and act like a raving clown. What do do when there is no loving lady to call your own, Especially when you see a beautiful lady on TV asking her boyfriend to give her the bone. Go to a bowling alley and watch the older generation trying not to drop the ball, Then going home then hearing your footsteps echo along the hall. Go to the park and wave to a lady as you pass and say "Hi" Watching her grab her children as she screams pervert and throws rocks as you dash by. To tell the truth it's not really that bad, But some evening being along is still a bit sad. But each weekend I do find something new, My activities have encluded tons of volunteering projects that I believe the ideas are true. Helping older and disability personel to grocery shop or run in the car. Even helped injured to get around near and far. Still right now I feel a longing in my heart, A dream shall we say, A beautiful women, me and a slow dance. Let's say that is a start. So for right now I talk to many different ladies that I would someday like to know, I plan and idea, a smile and laughter and see what the future grows. Tonight I dream of a day that my heart knows no sadness, Oh Hell with it, I am going to paint this town red hot and enjoy passing out my style of hardwood dancing badness.

Screwing Up

Let's just say that I have the cleanest feet in town by trying to do the right thing, So far today I called a lady the wrong name, forgot my phone at home forgot my cookies I wanted to bring to work almost forgot to wake up, the alarm wasn't set. My coffee wasn't running, wrong setting and it's only 6:45 am. And I have to drive to Chicago
Welcome to this ol’ world Zadie Sue, After all this time I couldn’t wait to get to meet you. You came into a world that can’t really be trusted all the time. So maybe you will teach this Earth with respect, reason and rhyme. You came into my life at a time when not all is quite right. Now you are here, all my trials and tribulations are mimor because my heart has learned for the first time "Love at first sight". Yes! It’s true that your Daddy is number one in my heart, But now I can stand back to watch your Daddy begin his "On the job training" with you right from the start. To tell you truth, the word or thoughts of becoming a "Grandpa or Grandfather" has always scared me to death, Since that means I am getting older with limited human time on this Earth left. My head always told me that I feel like a 21 year old man with a lot of experiences on his hand, But my heart has always been wondering if I was good enough to be given the greatest honor bestowed to people on this great land. Now that you came come into our lives. My joyful spirit has given me a youthful clearity that I have finally earned that honored name, Now I can say this like only a grandparent may. It will be a joy to watch my son raising you. So I can give him that "I told you so" wink, when he tells me what you do that makes him slightly insane. You are my first grandchild so that by it’s self makes you truely special to me, Thinking of you will give me pleasure, wondering that day if you are exploring your world, playing with friends or chasing cats up an ol’ oak tree. May you walk the gardens of beauty and your spirit flies true, Always know this ol’ man truely loves you, Zadie Sue.

Old Range Rider

Old Range Rider Category: Writing and Poetry ..> For the last 6 months I have ridden in the dust of 10,000 head of cattle. I couldn't even guess the days I could finally get a reprive from this worn broken down saddle. So many rivers that this band of saddletramps has forded. Hundreds of galloons of thick coffee and a thousand plates of biscuits, beans, hardtack these cowboys have horded. God only know to how many days that were so hot that the only thing that moved in the air was the thick heavy dust, It blanketed everything that the lungs of animals and man alike was ready to bust. We moved ten to 15 miles a day at our very best, Then at night we might get 5 hours of needed rest. Endless days of heat and chasing a lost calf or scattered doggie, No wonder mirages tended to make ones mind a bit foggy. Nights so clear that a million stars could be seen, Many sunrises so beautiful that on hated to move because the air was so clean. Summer rains were a blessing to our mighty group, Unless it stormed and made the dirt like soup. Those times were impossible to even think of the word "Dry", At times it bacame so bad it looked like the cows gave up and begin to cry. At last the end is close for this cow hand Only another week of crossing the open range land, One last ride for me to bear Before they retire me to the Ol' rocking chair, For this business is for the young to grow up quick And not for a 75 year old country hick My last thing I would say about riding the west For me riding the range of yesteryear was the best.

Bar Thoughts

Bar Thoughts Category: Writing and Poetry ..> How many things can you do sitting in a saloon or bar, You could sit by a window and look at the passing vehicles from afar. You could slowly sip at a fishbowl sized mug of frosty ice cold beer, Chat with a drunk until he tells you to stop yapping in his ear. You could read all the football schedules and check out the nearly naked girl in the new beer sign, Or drink enough that the only thing you can think of is a four part Berma Shave line. You could sweet talk to the beautiful redhead that sat down next to you, Until she gives you the finger and tells you something about another unpleasant way to screw, Watch your favorite baseball team on the overhead television screen, Check the menu for burgers, shrimp or something thats nice and lean. Give a cute waitress a name of a drink that comes someplace south of ..> border. Always give her a couple of extra coins when she calls you honey as she delivers your special order. Talk to a dear friend that you haven't seen ages, whom you wanted to see in quite a while. You could sing that Kari-ouchie in an loud ear splitting style. Sit there and count all the brands of beer lined up against the wall, Get up to go to the bathroom hopeing like hell you don't make a jerk of yourself if you trip and fall. Glance at the young couple in the booth as they talk while they are holding hands, Overhear the business man complain about the cost of his upcoming family vacation plans, Check out the blond as she reads her non fiction book, Or watch the Texas Hold'em game or the two gents playing something that has a king, queen, and something else called a rook. So what do I do at the bar sipping down my drink, Remembering those friends that have traveled to the great beyond. I raise my glass to them, To their memory I toast them as I think.
