Pick me up and wipe the dust away
I was your rag doll when you were gray
Ragged, worn and even tattered
You made my heart shattered
You used me and abused me
You were the lock and I was the key
But you tossed me away
Left my soul to decay
I used to be the diamond in your eyes
But your true colors made me realize
You're not what I had thought you used to be
How could you treat me so poorly
I'm sorry I'm not the perfect doll
I'm sorry for ruiening it all
You used to hold me throughout the night
Held me close and held me tight
You ran your fingers through my hair
Of love that we used to share
Before you tossed me down on the floor
Crushing my heart and leaving my eyes so sore
I'm sorry I'm not being the perfect one
I'm sorry for not being your shining sun
I lay here now, lost in the night
Waiting for things to become alright
Because I have seen your colors were true
Of what I didn't want to believe but I already knew
I was just your rag doll when you needed me
