You said don't worry, we are to meet someday.
You don't know me now, but very soon you will,

You said you didn't know how in dreams we could talk,
You said it didn't matter, you took me on a walk.
All the stars and the moon were different in someway,
They twinkled and shined showing us the way.
We came upon a river, we followed holding hands,
You said you were a king, the highest in the lands.
You said you made a wish, for true love at your side..
Someone you could trust, someone to confide.
Many women came to you praying to be the one,
Your true love was not there when all was said and done.
Saddened you were thinking you would always be alone,
There wasn't anyone you could find, to bring into your home.
As you looked out at these very stars, you said you made a wish,
A falling star in front of you turned into a fish.
He said because you saw him he could make that wish come true,
Then you said, "My darling that's how I came to you."
He said it could not happen yet, but soon it will be,
You said it was then you were in this dream with me.
You said, "will you wait for me?" tears in your eyes,
I have heard you weeping, I hear your silent cries.
I told you I would wait, we would make our dreams come true,
You turned and looked me in the eyes and said, "I've always loved you."
I knew that you were out there, I could feel your strength and love,
I held your tears that were brought to me by a pure white dancing dove.
These are the tears of your true love she's thinks she won't find you,
You can see her in her dreams but she must not yet see you too.
You watched me for many years waiting for this night,
You held me close and said "You must believe that this is right."
Only then can I come and really find you dear
Please hold on, please believe I always want you near
One day you'll look up and I'll be standing there
You'll know I am the one with whom your life you'll share
For now now I will see you in your dreams and you will be in mine
Before you go to sleep at night look for the star that you see shine
Blow a kiss close your eyes and know I will be there
