subject: Update on my Sister!!! post date: 2006-11-01 17:23:46 I posted this blog in Sept..... My hero,my friend and my sister!!! Just wanted to tell you why my sister is my hero. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in Oct.2005 and since losing one breast she has been treated for cancer in her hip.Six weeks ago she had to go to the hospital because of weakness in the right side and was told she had metastatic cancer lesions on her brain. Throughout all of this I have never heard one negative remark or one ounce of self pity from her lips. Could I be like that, I seriously doubt I would have her strength and courage!!I hope I never have to. She stays strong and lives solely to be a wife, mother and friend and does it willingly to survive,for that is her reason for living!! I am proud to say she is my hero,my friend and my baby sister. I love you--Susie!! This is the news I recieved this afternoon, so if you would please add her to your prayers, it would be much appreciated...hugs, Nyne Wed.Nov.1,2006 Well today was the last treatment thus far for Moms brain lesions. She had 7 and they targeted 5 of them with this cyber knife radiation. She had trouble today tolerating it, tough laying there completely still for 3 hours, it gives her a headache and makes her nausea but she is feeling a little better now. She has lost up about 50 pounds, no appetite and doesn't eat well plus she's been really weak lately. She has something on the left side of her abdomen and we are waiting for a CT scan to be approved to get that checked out. I am trying to change her chemo doc because she doesn't like this new one and I don't care for the set up at the clinic. She's getting tired of feeling bad and is getting down about the whole thing though but still a fighter. Anyhow I thought I would update you all on what is going on. Love ya Tonya
