"FOR THIS I DO KNOW"
There are but only images left in our minds
When we leave this cruel world oh so far behind.
Knowing we have done nothing but our very best,
To keep a smile upon those we love's face.
Maybe we do try too hard at certain times
To makes things better or erase our crimes.
I can not explain just what it is I feel,
When I see for myself, your beauty's appeal.
I wish there way yet a simple way in life,
To take away all your heavy pain and strife.
You hold within the palms of your hands love,
They key to my heart i gave to you like a dove.
Now i must go and leave you with this in mind,
Always know my darling, you are oh so kind.
Fearing that you would only assuredly reject me,
For i know i am not who it is you want me to be.
