"JUST A POEM YA SEE"
It has been a long time now
Since i have seen my smile.
Having been so sad and down
For such a long period of time.
Always feeling within myself that
I was the one most laughed at.
Never truly being happy about me
I seemed to only be lost in life.
Now i have many great reasons
To keep my smile going for days.
Having such awesome friends that
No one can or ever shall take away.
Glad to see each new sunrise now
And hearing the birds sing their song.
Wanting to go out into society
And experience the highs and lows.
Beginning a brand new life you might say
To where i am living now for me alone.
No longer really caring at all,
Just how others may think of me.
Having this new chance to feel
What it is like to actually live.
No longer hiding in my caves,
Hidden away from our society.
Taking each new day that comes
As a new adventure i must take.
Hoping that just maybe one day,
I can also just find true love.
Watching all the many changes that
Seem to be defining my existence.
Knowing i have more joy now than
I ever really did anytime before.
So i shall go now and only say,
That i want to thank you all.
For my friends and family here,
I truly owe you all my simple life.
