Thought it was Just a Dream
She often sits alone at night and wonders where he is,
Is he thinking of her smile, as she thinks of his?
She remembers when they first met,
A summer she could not forget.
They walked Hand in hand day or night wherever they went whether it be Under the moon that shined so bright or The Rays of The Sunlight
She remembers the soft touch of his hand the look in his eye
All the feelings she had were surely not planned
She was overwhelmed how Being in his arms took away her fright & felt so right
It left room in her heart for her magic to ignite.
A promise she made in silence one night,
That eventually things would be just right,
The promise she held close to her heart,
Praying from him she would never depart.
Then one night it was like a dream,
That she was sitting alone by a stream.
Painful tears ran down her cheek,
She realized then what made him so unique.
He was nothing like anyone she'd ever known,
The way he cared about her had really shown.
She was glad she had realized this all on her own.
But then one night to his suprise She left him again with Pain in his heart tears in his eyes left him not knowing why she was leaving wondering what he had done What went wrong.
He couldnt understand because she kept it hidden within it was nothing he had done wrong, He thought it was a dream
He knew then that he wasn't mistake'n
for his sweetheart had been taken.
If only she had given him more answers,
More time, more assurance She could very well be in his arms as we speak,
Rather than with "him" in her thoughts.
With time apart as Tears run down her face Pain fills her heart
She realizes she needs & longs for him again
for he was more precious than a diamonds or pearls
Only time will tell the outcome of this once True Romance!
