Have noticed something when I've rated some images:
their average has not changed (I will rate an image a 10 and the 10 (2) will not go up to a 10 (3) after I refresh the page, but will stay at 10 (2) for instance; not always, but some of the time. If it was 9 (3), for instance - a total of 27 points over 3 rates- it sometimes stays at 9 (3) rather than going up to 9.2 (4) (37 points over 4 rates).)
And- apparently for those images whose averages/number of rates weren't affected by my rating - if I come back in a day or two, I find the image wasn't rated at all by me (they got the points, if it wasn't NSFW or ripped, but the bar is clear, as though I hadn't rated it...) and I have an opportunity to re-rate it. If I'm not out of rates for the day, anyway... but it's odd.
(Edited that in a (partially) successful attempt to get rid of a duplicate post. Weird...
