I just want to let people know a few things....
1) Water expands when it gets cold (ice) and should contract as it gets warmer (Evaporation) [Icecaps melting should not raise water level]
2) Conservation of mass: "Matter is neither created or distorted, it is simply transferred from one from to another." [Again, ice caps melting will not cause water level to rise.]
3)Archimedes' principle The weight of the displaced fluid is directly proportional to the volume of the displaced fluid (if the surrounding fluid is of uniform density). Thus, among completely submerged objects with equal masses, objects with greater volume have greater buoyancy.
Global Warming may in fact be very real, however this load of crap about water levels rising is just that, crap...
A helpful tip may be to TAKE BOATS OUT OF THE WATER... THAT WILL LOWER WATER LEVELS....
Have a great day!
