What are you waiting for?

A thought for the day from: Peter Britt "This pain, unrelenting and unforgiving. This seemingly iniquitous existence as viewed by some, holds within it a heart, pure and filled with love. Surely, the heart which binds with another and protects all those whose same hearts are watched over, laid safe each night. It is those, which devour my own. Feast upon this soul with ravenouos delight do those who are protected. The life, the man, no longer admired or loved beyond condition. Only admonished does he stand, nearing his fall through the blinding tears which obscure his sight now. No longer does the light come in, it hides behind the stabbing pain in this chest waiting. It awaits the day, when the heart is healed, if it shall ever come." ©Peter Britt Krystal Vision Publishing

A thought for the day from: Peter Britt "I try pleasing everyone, to no avail. No action, no understanding, no compassion, no consideration extends beyond the moment is is offered. Yes at times, even that brilliant instant when the pure heart reaches out, it is brushed aside with little regard for the genuality it brings with it. Please everyone? Surely, it would take a better man than I. Many are those whose sight is deeper, whose intent, more pure and genuine. The lonely man in heart, stands aside from his own feelings and offers them all to appease those who fill it, to validate their place within it. To reach within them, to fill their hearts with all he is inside. For all he is, is all he has. It is all he will ever be, alone. This he will always be inside" ©Peter Britt Krystal Vision Publishing
A thought for the day from: Peter Britt "And those whose love surrounds me, edifiy this spirit, this mind. Their love, true and deep spreads throughout this heart, yet still, the darkness pervades the light. It swallows everything within and forestalls the surfacing of clarity. Deep inside, the dark controls this embattled heart with a relentless grasp. The light, fondly embraced in memory. Up ahead in the distance somewhere it must be. No peace this day, as the day before, and those to come. The view ahead, ill-defined, yet hopeful. The future, yet to come and to be revealed. I wait." ©Peter Britt Krystal Vision Publishing
A thought for the day from: Peter Britt "And the day began. Yet as the sun broke the horizon, the light evaded me still. Moments of splendorous delight in this soul are burdened and chained. Disdain fills my cup and surrounds me, but for moments of want or need, the feign demeanor, brighter than the day and seen by these eyes. The struggle within, seemingly insuperable odds mock any advanace. This spirit provides reproach to its own blood, and it flows according to the indistinguishable emotions its kindred grasp so tightly. Admonished is the man, and vacant is the space, which once was filled with admiration. The future, always open to change, and it is this day, as well." ©2008 Peter Britt Krystal Vision Publishing

A new thought from: Peter Britt My mother used to tell me about a proverb in the bible, one she ensured I understood. I decided to share it with you, here. "I cried because I had no shoes, until I saw a man who had no feet." Why post this you ask? Not preaching, only sharing. The point of course, is to be grateful for what you have, because you could have much less and many do. Myself, being in a self-reflective mood today, I'm thinking about the way I act towards others in my life, and the way perhaps at times, they do not act in like fashion. That being said, on with the show! "Wouldn't it be nice if everyone treated others truly, as they wish to be treated? Wouldn't it be nice if truth wasn't merely a word to many people and, those to whom it is mostly just a word, could see that even though truth sometimes hurts, the alternative takes away from our character a little at a time. Wouldn't it be nice if all we had to do to be happy is give of ourselves, and it was given back as eagerly? Wouldn't it be nice if we held out our hand to someone and that instant was a defining moment in their life? <---That one is easy, if you try! Wouldn't it be nice if things were not complicated? <---Not so easy! Wouldn't it be nice to be on a deserted island right now? <---Man, do I wish I could find one! Wouldn't it be nice to know that everyone you love, loves you back with the same intensity, trust and respect that you give? <---Never stop trying Well, I'm sure I have sufficiently bored at least some here today. Just perhaps, there is something to learn within all that, perhaps." ©2008 Peter Britt Krystal Vision Publishing

Just curious!

I was curious; does anyone actually read these thoughts I put up? I am trying to figure out if it's worth my putting them up here for everyone. Some feedback would be very nice. I absolutely love putting them up and hearing from at least some, their thoughts, or take on what I've been writing, but if no one is interested in reading them, I will find somewhere else to post them. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Peter Britt
Another newspaper on the coffee table "Yes, that is what I became. Perhaps it merely lay there, too long. Perhaps, the stories it held within were simply not interesting enough to read again, and again. There was a time, yes, it was not long ago as I recall, my presence was noticed, wanted and even important to some. Through time, fading, as do the days, did I become overlooked. Not remembered for those things, which I have done, but judged for the moment alone did I become. No cause to guide those I hold dear to see the heart fading, for they have not looked. Oh, some see the trickle of life, hungry to matter, but unexplained are those whose lives cradled and protected always, turn away from that which they took so freely, for so long. Now, ignored. A certain darkness begins to cover things, sooner or later. The light is sought feverishly, just to hold, to cling to. Without the light, there is little to see, or to aspire toward. These aspirations daunted for a time, fell deeper into the abyss, helplessly they plunged as virtues viewed unchastely, judged and condemned were they then assigned. A spirit in pieces, thrown to the side and not seen. That spirit, seemingly ubiquitous not long ago, now uncommon, it's sighting. True that light never fades, nor can it be extinguished, only covered up so the seeing, comes sharply. Until then, when the light returns and the strength of that spirit emerges, just another newspaper on the coffee table, overlooked. 02/29/2008 ©2008 Peter Britt Krystal Vision Publishing
