One of my Cherry Tap friends has a grandson named Julian, nicknamed “Juju." Three-year-old Julian recently had surgery to remove a tumor from his brain, which they learned this week was malignant (medullablastoma). Apparently they got all of the tumor, but he will spend the next year having chemo and radiation with many “horrible side effects,” I’m told.
As a mother of a two-year-old, I can say that it’s hard to imagine anything too much scarier, although I’m sure you don’t have to be a parent to get that. ;)
