the back story.
I've been living in the same place for a good 4-5 years.
3 of them with my best friend whom I used to date.
My landlord has always been an asshole BUT $800 a month for a 4 bedroom apartment isn't half bad.
Pet friendly and everything so I've put up with the bullshit for a good 4-5 years.
My bf whom had been my best friend for 5 years before we started dating, offered me to move into his house.
He owns it and is only paying the bank.
I will only need to chip in $200 a month thats it for advanced cable for myself.
The rest of what I make is mine.
Now here is why I'm on the fence.
I love my bf and want to be with him, but I don't want to leave my roommate hanging.
He lost his dayjob last year and makes nothing.
Since I stopped stripping I make only $600-$700 a month after taxes.
But on the same note the landlord is in contempt of court and if my roommate takes him to court on it and all the other fucked up shit that I wont mention, he may end up living here free for a while.
But he hasn't been looking for a job so at the same time I'm fed up with that.
Still I don't want to leave him hanging.
In my mind its tough for me to make a choice because my head and my heart are both battling.
Stay and help the best friend with the rent though we may lose the place any how, or say fuck it and live with my honey whom I've known for a long time.
If you had the choice what would you choose?
For some its clean cut I know that.
And some its not.
