I sit here drawing and writing
Remembering the past, looking for the future
I stumble back to the old daysÂ
When we would laugh and play
They've become old photosÂ
In my tangled web of memories
Locked away in a chain of thoughts
Now I watch you slowly being taken
Away from that horrid place
To bigger and better things, or so they say
At one time you were my love, my life
My everything for so many years
Now I just stand and watch you leave
While watching the pen bleed
