A Man Is No One's blog: "Rants"

Its funny how no matter how much why try to change, we find ourselves falling into familiar routines. I suppose its because what we know is easier than that which we don't. The funny thing is, I wasn't happy with what I knew. I'm very good at focusing on work, doing what is "expected" of me. Its the things that make me happy that always seem to elude me. My girlfriend makes me happy, that I know. She does it in ways I can't explain beyond the obvious. Its hard not falling back into old patterns. Right now my work consumes a lot of my time, and its easy to lose sight of some of the things that make me happy. I guess the real trick is keeping my eye on the real prize, making her happy :)
