About 6 months ago, my G.daughter, Alexandra, came home from work and we were eating dinner. Suddenly she asked me if I had ever heard of Parrots attacking ships out at sea. Duhhhhhhhh! I sat there and said....WHAT???????????????????????? Then she told me that a girl at work was telling her about her mother being on a cruise and was worried about parrots attacking her ship. hahahahahah. I sat there just starring at her. "ummmm parrots honey?????????" "yes, Grandpa! I saw that movie about the birds attacking people but never heard of parrots attacking people. I didn't know that they could fly that far out to sea to attack people on a ship." hahahahah I sat there, and finally said..."honey... are you sure she didn't say PIRATES????????????????" I then told her that they are having a big problem with PIRATES attacking ships off the west coast of Africa near Samolia and Nigeria. hahahahaha She sat there and looked at me and said....."OH SH*T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I thought she said PIRATES. I feel soooo stupid cuz all day I kept trying to imagine parrots flying out to the ocean to attack ships." hahahahaha
Well, today I read this story again about Pirates and e-mailed it to Alex, who was on line downstairs. Suddenly I heard her laughing. Here is the link to the story in CNN news.
