I belong to a tribe called "Paranormal Research." Some of the members including myself have given accounts of their paranormal experiences over their lives posting them on that tribe. Other members of that same tribe question those of us who relate our anecdotal stories saying they have no scientific validity as they do not represent research under controlled conditions. my response to this was to relate events going back a few years ago to Navajo reserves where a dramatic story of life and death struggle took place punctuated by stark realisation of the scientific community to pay attention to what the local inhabitants might have to say on any subject at hand. A mysterious illness had broken out among the peoples there with flu like symptoms and healthy young men and women in their twenties and thirties were dying as their lungs were filling with fluids. The disease cowboys from Atlanta were mobilized and some of the best minds in the world equipped with the best technology of the day raced against time to isolate this new pathogen. Eventually a virus was identified as the culprit and we now know that the "Hanta virus" has probably been here before the first peoples came to the New World during the Clovis Migrations. What is really astounding is that the "Disease Cowboys" were so focused on the science that they completely overlooked a vital clue that would probably have saved them precious time. Navajo sand art is very similar to to "Oral Tradtitions" of First Nations People's of North America in that it chronicles events that take place within their society and relates stories that have lessons to impart. The story starts in the centre and successive larger circles continue outward imparting the message. It was in a particular sand art creation that the scientists could only stare at in wonder. It begins in the centre with a heavy rain the next circle shows the next growing season is an explosion of green foilage. The circle following shows an explosion of the Deer mice populations as there is such abundant food for them to multiply. The final outer circle shows young men and women dead and/or dying. We also now know that Deer Mice are the resevoir and vector for the Hanta Virus. in the year leading up to the outbreaks there were unusually heavy rainfalls in the midwest and the deer mice populations exploded as a result. Ancient Navajo society knew nothing of virus's....but they were well aquainted with disease. Thousands of years of learning flora and fauna patterns had taught them of the relationship between, heavy rains, lush vegetation growth, exploding deer mice populations and the occurance of disease. It was all chronicled in their art for someone to draw the connection. I'll bet since that realisation the Disease unit in Atlanta now has a person or persons with extensive backgrounds in Anthropology to do background work on a culture where they might be investigating a previously unknown pathogen. Humbly I submit that those of us who bring our experiences to any scientific forum help to amass a large body of information that when properly categorized will help establish an architecture for encounters with spiritual entities, shamanic encounters, UFO phenomena and fairy lore which all share common architecture according to Graham Hancock in his book "SuperNatural." If these phenomena Whether "Genuine Interdimensional Experience " or an interactive program in our non coding DNA that is activated by psychtropic drugs are actually all one in the same then our countless, collective experiences will help to advance that understanding just as the Navajo Sand Art would have helped the Disease Cowboys of Atlanta all those years ago   - MIKADEMUS
