Necessary background information:
Every time I've played football (soccer for you foreigners) in the last few months, I've ended up with severe pain in my right thigh muscle and can no longer kick a ball, as well as being unable to walk properly the next two or three days and pain in that area when standing up from a sitting condition.
Have been to my GP, but as it had recovered from the last time before my appointment, he could feel nothing wrong. Ended up with a physiotherapist referral, but that could take months to happen.
My question is this:
At the next occurrence of this, should I go to the hospital in the hope of them doing some sort of scan, in case there is an underlying problem.
or
Wait for the physiotherapist appointment to come up and try laying off the football playing. |
