Okay, so I have liked men younger than myself. That, in itself, is no crime. Especially, considering my age. If I date someone 16-18 yrs younger than me, that means that the guy is only 30-32.
However, like last night, I received a Shout saying that "hey how r u? r u interested in me?", surely he jests when he is only 18 years old. My daughter is 20....
Even thinking about dating someone in their 30s can be a reach because potentially, my daughter could be interested in the same guy. Kind of weird, huh? Fortunately, she is with someone 26 and happy with him; not looking. Good for me because I would doubt that we would have a discussion over the same guy. It would certainly be awkward to say the least!!
However, I could never really consider dating someone 18-29. I could certainly be their friend, but to date them???
While I don't look at the age thing as being a huge factor... I have dated guys from 16 years younger than me to 7 years older than me... I would have to say that that would have to be the greatest age spread that I would consider. Well, maybe a few years older... but certainly not someone only 18 years old.
Ugghhghghgh....I am flattered, but no. :)
At any rate, I am looking for friendships now....if that changes, you all will be the first to know!! lol...
