OK, this follows on from my previous MUMM. In the 5 years I have been with my partner, her ex husband of 20 years (they split 10 years ago) has repeatedly tried to get her to finish with me and go back to him. We split for a while so she could see him a few times, but she asked to come back to me and now says he means nothing to her.
I work away from home regularly, and the last twice I've been away she has spent time with him. She says it was to organise Christmas and birthday stuff for their kids (aged 20 and 26!!!!). I didn't like it and we rowed - but she said she was doing it anyway so tough - but it didn't mean anything.
Anyway, on Monday she is working away and an old female friend has invited me out. My gf would go ballistic if she knew - even though there has never been anything between this friend and me.
So - should I go out or stay in on my own, bearing in mind that she thinks it's OK for her to go out with a guy who still wants her? And if I do go, should I tell her or just keep quiet? |
