I've got several grocery stores that I can go to.
They either have no produce.
Shitty produce
or there's the market in the exact OPPOSITE direction of the one I go to every saturday morning and get delicious meats, breads, cheeses, olives, sauces, pastas and sodas.

This would be the mondomart with real foods and a real seafood counter and y'know... produce that isn't crawling with bugs or sat in an unconditioned truck with a crate smooshing them.

I do need to get out there more often.
Such a fucking hike for so few items though.
And I pass about 12 shitty supermarkets on the way there.

... did I mention that for being a produce central area we sure do have shittastic markets and selection?

well, the people that negotiate this stuff for us think so, the people buying our resources think so
and most of us are stupid enough to go with it or stick to buzzwords like "second ammendment rights" and "Support our troops" and "under god"

Kinda comes with being the only state that has a ban on teaching evolution still.
