What are you waiting for?
Disappointments, despairs, and depression…..
All quite prevalent in most of my life
Seemed like nowhere positive to go
But through it all, the door to my co-pilot remained open
Waiting for me to turn to it
Not sure what made me decide to open it….
But it was the best move I would make
Suddenly Hope, promise and faith became dominant
In my daily life
The sun begin to shine in the world around me
A special warmth within my heart developed
A spring in my daily steps made for positive traction
A shift of myself to being a positive influence to others
A feeling of being in the right places and times
My hope is others in the same position
Will do the same as I did
It will be the best choice they will ever make
Knowing they have joined me in this select group
Brings extra years to their lives as it did for me
Will always be here for them as well as they are for me
Thanks to my co-pilot for this opportunity
