Lost on a concrete island in a cement sea,
Day by day nature is lost seamlessly;
Where must I go?
How far can it be?
Just to see,
To see just one tree;
The beauty of the world, and nature’s glory obscured by the progress of man,
Is nature lost or has it been captured, processed, bottled, and placed in a can?
Remnants of an industrial revolution lay as a stark reminder of the destruction of god’s work through man’s toil and invention,
Will Mother Nature stand for such dissention?
And not to mention, the legions of fey, totem, and dragon that guard her ascension?
Though nature’s beauty has not passed from sight,
The city skyline is still pierced by her light,
And if you listen, You can still hear her call in the dead of night...
