If I had only one wish and only
one dream
my wish would be for all the
soldiers who are fighting for our country
fighting for our freedom
that they could come home
and be with their loved ones.
My dream would be to be able to
shake their hands and say you
are my hero and my best friend.
If I had only one prayer
it would be a prayer
for safety and of comfort
a hug to say I love you and
a handshake to say thank you for all
you do I will never forget.
