What are you waiting for?

There was this girl named Mel who was given a box of old cassette tapes by her uncle, Bob. Mel went to school with that box of tapes and asked her friends if they wanted any. See, Mel is more of a pop/r&b person, and most of the tapes fit in the Heavy Metal genre. Mel's friend, Ammy, took the Guns n Roses tapes for herself and asked Mel if she wanted to sell the two Metallica tapes (Master of Puppets and Garage Inc.) to her friend, Dave. I said "sure, why not." So, later that week a mutual friend of Mel and Ammy's, Kei, gave Mel the money for the tapes and Mel gave Ammy the tapes to give to Dave. See, Mel was a sophomore in high school and Dave was a 7th Grader. Dave was completely satisfied with his purchase. A week later when Mel was on the bus going home from high school she seen this guy with a leather jacket and a bicced shaved head walking down the hill towards the catholic church and was blinded by the hotness that the jacket radiated on the guy. So, Mel asked Nick who that was and Nick said, "That is Dave Gaston." I was like "OMG I just sold a couple of Metallica tapes to that guy. Wow!" I was totally breathless to say the least. That night Mel told her mom that she had to stay after school for an hour to help one of her teachers. That was a lie. Mel was planning to meet and introduce herself to Dave. Little did Mel know that five or six years later that she would be marrying Dave. So the next day Mel wore a pair of baby blue jeans and a blue tie dyed shirt and waitil after school till Dave got off his bus from the middle school. Immediately after she got off the bus she ran up to Dave and asked him who he was. Dave confirmed that he was indeed Dave Gaston, so Mel said "I'm Mel, I sold you those Metallica tapes" and promptly gave him her phone number. Mel was swept off her feet but felt dorky at the same time. So, the next year and a half were pretty much spent on the phone, as friends, however, there were a lot of romantic conversationg. Soon Dave was going into high school. He would be a freshman when Mel was a senior. This was the day that they all had been waiting for. The day that they could finally go to school together and be a couple, afterall, they had waited for this for months. Going to school was just NOT meant to be. See, Dave's mom, Lori, married this jerk named Craig, and they moved to the lower Eastern part of the state. However, this would only keep them apart for a year and a month. They moved back because Lori did not like being that far away from her friends and family. So, when they moved back Mel and Dave got back in touch and started dating for a short while until Craig ordered Dave not to have anything to do with Mel, and sent Dave off to Church camp hoping to reform Dave. This instance would keep Dave and Mel apart for another year and a half. Then Dave came home from school and Greg told him he had to leave. So Dave gave his keys to Lori and left to trek up to his Dad's place. Six months later Dave emailed Mel and told him he was living with his dad, Earl, and that he missed her. Unfortunately Mel was engaged to this jackhole named Ike. Of course, fate would intervene and Mel and Dave would get back in touch and meet again six more months later. Mel ran into her friend, Greg, at the grocery store and in the parking lot Greg gave Mel Dave's cell phone number. Mel almost passed out cause she was brutally tramatized by her relationship with Ike. She really didn't know if she wanted Dave back into her life. She didn't want to be hurt again. A week later Mel decided to call Dave and left a message on his cell phone. He called her back and it was just like their younger days. They were back to being on the phone for hours on end. This time it was for keeps. In August Mel went up to the big city to meet Dave and they were instantly back together and in love even more. A few months later Dave turned 18 and proposed to Mel on his birthday. Mel said yes and they would be married in June. Four blissful years later they are still happy and in love. The End (For now at least)
