So as a lot of you know I've lost a lot of weight from gastric bypass. I had a 14 month check up yesterday and they took a new picture and copied it side by side to my before surgery pic. I'm officially down 125 lbs and have lost something like 54 inches everywhere. Well, today I brought my new picture to work to show some friends. Everyone is amazed of course because none of the people here saw me when I was 365 lbs. Well this volunteer that works in the lobby here(I work at a hospital) made a comment to another co-worker that I was pretty but if I lost another 50I'd be beautiful. I know he didn't exactly mean it to be rude but I have a hard time taking it any other way. He didn't think I could hear him but for some reason everything ressonates(sp?) into my little office. Any tips on how I should approach the situation? Should I just let it go? Or should I tell the the conversation they had wasn't appropriate? Maybe even tell the supervisor?
