| I work for an ENT specialist...well I have worked in the medical field most of my life. I have dealt with alot of different people. People of different ages, races, creed and color. From Geriatric to Pediatric, Black to White, Jew to Muslim...you get the point. Here is my question then. I noticed something today...if a foreigner comes into our office and doesn't completley understand the language I notice I sllllllloooowwww myyyy speeeeeccchhhhh patttteeerrrnnn doooowwwnnnn and SPEAK ALOT LOUDER an-nun-ci-at-ing ev-er-y con-son-ant. Why is that! I'm not the only one. Think about it...when you go to the local 7-11 and get a slushy and ask the person behind the counter for a pack of your favorite cigarettes and they look at you like a Deer caught in headlights..... what do YOU do. So kiddies I guess what I'm saying is let's be more considerate of our foreign friends and neighbors....remember Dumbass in English is the same as DUMMMMMBBBB-ASSSSS. Mind you some of my dearest friends are foriegn...but they are considerate enough to understand the words that are coming from my mouth. Hell I have even started learning their language so if I go to visit them I can atleast hold a decent conversation and follow some kind of direction. Anyhoodle I vented...I feel better now.
