So, if I lose a few friends over what I am about to type - So be it. Sorry to see you go - I respect your opinion if you think Bush is evil, but I believe otherwise. Fan Me Add Me and several "other" posters (I say Others because frankly, I think they are all the same person) have been posting a lot of BS about 911, and that Bush is somehow to blame for everything. All it takes is using a BRAIN to refute their opinion, but they would rather believe the 911truth BS instead of doing research, and applying facts. They also rant and rave that Bush is responsible or all the deaths caused by Katrina. Wow. 1)It was an inside job. Bush killed all the WTC people and those on the airplanes. Really - Then why did Al Qaeda claim responsibility? What, they WANTED to become the most hunted people on the ace of the Earth, so went along with the Gag? But don't take the US press as proof - Let's go to someone NOT our friend - Russia. Pravda reported in 2002 that Al Qaeda had claimed responsibility for the terror attacks, and was threatening "1000s" more. But even if Al Qaeda HADN'T claimed responsibility - What kind of SICK mind *wants* to believe that the US killed 3000 people in the Towers, and rounded up all the people from the planes and disposed of them? 2) A "Handful" of people made 911 happen, from planting Demolition devices in the Towers, to actually flying the Planes. OK, I have no solid proof against this. Only COMMON SENSE. Something of this magnitude would have taken literally 100s, if not 1000s to pull off, and make it "look" like a terror attack. Up and down the line, orders would need to have been given, munitions moved around, planes re-routed, and don't forget the manpower to round up all the passengers, kill them, and dispose of the bodies. And yet no PROOF, not one SHRED of a document, or a recorded phone call by someone wanting to cover their ass in case the "truth" came out? In THIS day and age? Right. 3) Bush was responsible for all the Katrina deaths - He could have avoided the problems. Many of you may not know, but the responsibility for protecting & evacuating citizens falls on the STATE and LOCAL government, NOT the FEDERAL government - And certainly not Bush personally. Where was the outcry against the Governor, for not ordering the Guard in time? Where are the repercussions against the Mayor for allowing buses to sit UNUSED long after the evacuation was ordered? Of course, people blame FEMA - FEMA does NOT exist to PREVENT natural disasters. FEMA's purpose is to coordinate the response to a disaster which has occurred in the United States and which overwhelms the resources of local and state authorities. The STATE has to do what it can FIRST, and THEN request FEMA's assistance. 4) What about the 2 f-15s in he air during 911, and the mysterious "white jet"? Boston Center, one of 22 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regional ATC facilities, called NORAD's Northeast Air Defense Sector (NEADS) three times: at 8:37 am EST to inform NEADS that Flight 11 was hijacked; at 9:21 am to inform the agency, mistakenly, that Flight 11 was headed for Washington (the plane had hit the North Tower 35 minutes earlier); and at 9:41 am to (erroneously) identify Delta Air Lines Flight 1989 from Boston as a possible hijacking. The New York ATC called NEADS at 9:03 am to report that United Flight 175 had been hijacked--the same time the plane slammed into the South Tower. Within minutes of that first call from Boston Center, NEADS scrambled two F-15s from Otis Air Force Base in Falmouth, Mass., and three F-16s from Langley Air National Guard Base in Hampton, Va. None of the fighters got anywhere near the pirated planes. There was such a jet (White) in the vicinity of Flight 93--a Dassault Falcon 20 business jet owned by the VF Corp. of Greensboro, N.C., an apparel company that markets Wrangler jeans and other brands. The VF plane was flying into Johnstown-Cambria airport, 20 miles north of Shanksville. According to David Newell, VF's director of aviation and travel, the FAA's Cleveland Center contacted copilot Yates Gladwell when the Falcon was at an altitude "in the neighborhood of 3000 to 4000 ft."--not 34,000 ft. "They were in a descent already going into Johnstown," Newell adds. "The FAA asked them to investigate and they did. They got down within 1500 ft. of the ground when they circled. 5) Conspiracy theorists insist there was no plane wreckage at the Pentagon. Blast expert Allyn E. Kilsheimer was the first structural engineer to arrive at the Pentagon after the crash and helped coordinate the emergency response. "It was absolutely a plane, and I'll tell you why," says Kilsheimer, CEO of KCE Structural Engineers PC, Washington, D.C. "I saw the marks of the plane wing on the face of the building. I picked up parts of the plane with the airline markings on them. I held in my hand the tail section of the plane, and I found the black box." Kilsheimer's eyewitness account is backed up by photos of plane wreckage inside and outside the building. Kilsheimer adds: "I held parts of uniforms from crew members in my hands, including body parts. Okay?" I could go on all day - And take up hundreds of Blog entries. The REAL truth is out there - Not just a bunch of coincidences and crackpot theories with no basis of fact. Stop freaking watching Michael Moore, and stop thinking like Mulder and Sculley.
