mum expired. [EVERYONE]

I've seen alot of mumms about names and stuff lately so here's another....I'm wanting to change my name. The reason for this is it's my Native American side of me and the name is almost extinct. There are only girls now and when they get married, they will change their names....so i'm wondering if i should change my last name or keep it how it is....currently it's Donald Sevier (pronounced like severe headache) or change it to Don Chockpoyah....
