"I intend to answer every allegation that comes my way. However, I intend to answer them in the appropriate forum -- in a court of law. And when I do, I am absolutely certain that I will be vindicated,"
Rod Blagojevich, 12/19/08
He promises to fight, and calls the rest of the state a lynch mob. Today, the Governor made it clear he will not resign, and will remain in office while he faces a federal case unless impeached. He then asked us, the lynch mob, to give him the same rights as a child, to presume he is innocent. I know, from the selfish view of a child, it is smart of him to remain in power even though it hurts the state. He could use the office of governor in someway, whatever. But, how the hell am I part of a lynch mob? Is it a smart thing to turn on the people of IL when you're facing impeachment?
