and the friendship-relation here means this, that, the other thing and at most helps real friendship along, if used right. I took being dropped very personally on LJ back five years ago or so, eh yes. ... If I drop you (and you figure out from the title of this that this may be a post you may want to be reading; maybe not...) - it may mean I've burnt all bridges and am figuratively deaf to all reasoning (such bridges as there were, we were not necessarily close of course, depending on who you and I were to each other again of course... often not close at all...) - but it may not. But the chances are I may want to communicate about something (if only to ask questions, to find if I was right to do what I did, or to continue acquaintanceship at a looser level than such friendship that was there.)
