I'm still learning fubar etiquette, I bid on a person in an auction, he didn't have very many bids, and I could afford it so I bid 100K, but I have not heard from this person, he has not even added me as a friend yet. I'm wondering if I should go ahead and send him the fubucks, or wait until he accepts my friend request at least...

You should at least wait for him to accept the friend request, after all you did pay for the offers he posted, and being friends has to be a pre-requisite
