As you may have deduced, I'm a fan of classic horror, but with the resurgence of the zombie phenomenon, I get to thinkin'...
Classic horror used implied effects to frighten viewers; today's horror movies are gore makeup and digital effects. I find that the in-your-face effects don't allow your imagination to "run away with you". What you see is what you get.
Do you prefer old style horror, or cutting edge effects to scare you? |
