Hello Folks.. Thought we would write this blog and see if there are those that might like to lend a hand next summer.
Heres the deal, We plan on going for a long ride heading for the Florida Keys in the early summer. But we plan on making the trip down and back as much of the fun as hitting the beach for a few days snorkeling and the like.
Now those friends we have grown close to on here know Paul is a disable vet and we are on a fixed income so we are planning on camping along the way as much as possible and avoiding hotels and the like as much as possible. Taking all back roads all the way down and back and hitting all the Native Rez’s along the way to refuel our Sprits.
Because of the limited carry capacity of our scoot we would like to plan to meet folks off here along the way that might like to lead us a shower and maybe a cup of coffee ( and if were really quite, a warm spot on the floor if we need a few winks out of a rain).
We thought the idea of a rough camp trip from the back of the scoot over a month on the road, with the hope of at least saying hello to some of the folks we have come to know over time from the screen, would be a great and fun trip.
We both want to spend some time on a couple of the Rez’s heading down and spend warm nights watching the stars and flicker of camp fires.
