Ok so I'm sort of new to a lot of this. I'm in that dreadfully long process of separation and the whole thing with final negotiations and what not. I'll post more about that when we see through to the conclusion coming soon. So now the other process of getting back out into the scene so to speak and while everyone seems to say that they want the nice guy, I'm quickly learning that the old adage about nice guys finishing last, well there's much of that that seems to hold true.
So I'm beginning to rethink this nice guy shit as it's just not paying off. Hell, thinking back it doesn't seem to have paid off over time anyway so why the hell not.
What seems to be out there? A lot of medical staffers. People that work shift work and end up with the mids. Obviously, my heart goes out to them. They are there at all hours of the night while people go do stupid stuff and get injured and go to the ER because no matter how bad they screw themselves or others up it's all fixable, right? Oh wait, gotta quit that. I'm supposed to be deviating from the nice guy thing. Maybe I'll go all flowers, rainbows, unicorns and shit later to make up for it.
Lots of people lying about their age.. Hey ladies, lying about your age, which also means putting a pic out there before you finished your sophomore year at college and you've obviously got your gold card from the great AYCE buffet tour three years ago, yeah. That's lying too. Lots and lots of people with damaged self esteems. To put this metaphorically, if your cruising on life's oceans listing 35 degrees to starboard, smoke billowing from your stern, go to dry-dock and put in for some serious repairs before going out fishing again!!! Or screw it. Scuttle. Hell either way I don't care. I'm steering clear.
On the up side, a few creative types, writers, artists, very very rare geek girls. I wish there were more but by their very nature they're not likely to get up away from the x-box or WOW until they find they've completely run out of pizza rolls and make that 2 AM run to the wally-world for another case and 12 bottles of gamer fuel.
The other thing is protocol.. haa ha ha ha, wtf?!? This is me geeking out like I naturally do when trying to figure out some problem or puzzle or wtf-have you. So am I supposed to do things in this order.. view, favorite, wink, e-mail or view, wink, fav, e-mail or send stupid token, mail, fav, wink, ocd omg. I'll figure this shizznit out later. I have other stuff to do.
Oh yeah and some good news.. I'm eating more fiber, some uber-fiber-broom-straw-tasting-colon-blow, fast acting too, so in like 2 hours, I'll be just a little less full of shit. YAY. Not really but what the hell. What does not kill me will make me stronger, or at least a little bit lighter and maybe even quiver. No not quicker, quiver.
