Ok.. so I'm not one to rant and bitch very much about changes being made on fubar.. I've been one to go with the flow..
but here's a copy of a letter sent to lounge owners.. I guess.. ones who created the lounge of active lounges..
Greetings:
The new lounges are scheduled to go live 11AM Saturday, Pacific Time. Many of you have already created new lounges and given us valuable feedback. Thanks for your help in making them rock!
A couple notes on the new lounges:
After they go live, it will cost 500 fuBucks to create a new lounge. Lounges you have already created during the beta testing period will not be charged retroactively.
At some point it will cost some fuBucks to maintain an inactive lounge. This will be offset by being awarded fuBucks for having an active lounge. We're still working out the details on this
So WTF... one nights notice? Remember alot of us pay money to be on this site and you expect us to just start over in one day? Alot of us who have lounges that have been around for awhile and you guys just leave like no warning to anyone except the lounge owners?
What about all the people who pay money to the site? what about them? What about the people who have invested time and money into lounges on this site? Do we just get thrown aside like we don't matter? This is complete and utter bullshit the staff is handling this move.. it is going to affect ALOT of people..
I have thought about this long and hard.. I'm going to continue to be here to support this site but seriously.. something has to give.. Do you guys even CARE what any of us has to say after putting so much of our time into this site? Do opinions matter anymore?
I think in all fairness we all deserved more warning that what we got.. and if it weren't for owners passing along the message alot of people wouldn't know what was going on.. seriously.. its the memebers who make a site go on .. and the lounge community is a huge part of this site whether some of you like it or not..
So anyway.. theres my rant.. PLEASE REPOST THIS AND FFS SOMEONE MAKE THIS A STICKY PLEASE!
