NEVER ENDING NIGHTS
As I lay in the arms I’ve yearned for,
for so long
A feeling went through me; this is where
I belong.
The warmth of your touch let me know you
were there
The tone of your voice tells me that you
care.
As we went into the never ending night
Intertwined till the morning light.
I gazed at you endlessly without
any doubt
Of knowing what this night would surely
bring about.
The hours were endless with feelings of
content,
Neither of us wasting a moment to be
spent.

Waking with the feeling as though no
time was lost
Ready to face each other with no thought
of the cost.
With stars fading and the peeking of
sunlight
Neither would forget the never-ending
night!
