| So I have these neighbors, they have a basketball hoop angled so that every stray ball goes flying downhill and into my garage door (or car). I tried to ask the kids to please move it just a little bit so it doesn't hit my garage. The response I got was that it's only a little damage so it's ok and they aren't moving it. I asked a cop what he thinks I should do. He said I can either try to reason with the parents, see if my HOA will do anything, or call the cops have them try to scare them and if that doesn't work file a civil suit against them as well as charging the kids with criminal destruction of property. So what should I do? |
