Trespassing in someones happiness

I want to know why some people just cannnot see other people happy. Why must they thrive on other peoples pain, misery and misfortune. For example a couple together being bothered by an x cuz the x feels the need to be angry and vengeful. I have personally had my share of heartache but you dont see me hunting down any of my x-bf to make there life miserable. I would rather be out celebrating my freedom and joy of not being part of a broken relationship. I know there are some of you out there wondering about warning others about the betrayal they endured. Do you really think that the person wants to here from an x how terrible there significant other was to them. Do you really think that you would be a credible source of information. I have always believed in having a person learn for themselves that way you dont get involved and well they were going to learn sooner or later. Why must these people focus so much time, energy, and effort on detructive things. Its no wonder there is so much wrong with the world. People should be focusing on more constructive things. What is the point of the revenge and anger? When its all done with whats next? I personally would have been spending all that time mending whatever it is that is broken. Not everyone sees it like that. I know the world can be cruel but why add more ugliness to it by continuing a cycle of destruction.
